Big Brother housemate Jayne Connery was taken to hospital after being injured during a task.
The former glamour model received medical attention on Wednesday. Jayne lost her balance on a bridge over the pool which was built by housemates.
"The housemates' health and welfare is of paramount importance," a Channel 5 spokeswoman told the Press Association. "Big Brother puts into place appropriate medical arrangements as required."
In scenes which will be broadcast on Thursday, housemates were divided into three teams and challenged with building a bridge to support one team member.
The person on the bridge had to remain there for 90 seconds while the other two teams threw wet sponges and water balloons at them.
Jackson Blyton's wet sponge hit Jayne and caused her to lose her balance.
Model Jackson felt guilty despite the other housemates' attempts to reassure him that it was an accident.
Later, Big Brother gave the contestants an update about Jayne's condition and said she was "fine".
When Jayne returned to the famous Elstree house, she confirmed she was "feeling good".
Before entering the reality series, Jayne worked as a journalist and interviewed celebrities including Dustin Hoffman, Joan Collins and Dolly Parton.
