Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews could find himself taking the Duchess of Cambridge for a spin around the dance floor if he is made best man at his brother James's wedding to Pippa Middleton.
The reality star might need to brush up on his footwork if he is given the nod by his older brother and Miss Middleton asks her sister to be her matron of honour.
The senior royals have already said they are "absolutely delighted" by the news.
Spencer, 27, who is the younger brother of Middleton's fiance, left Made In Chelsea in 2015 after five years.
The E4 series often documented his lothario tendencies and tumultuous romantic entanglements and he once claimed to have slept with more than 1,000 women.
The reality television star was also forced to quit I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! last year because he was taking "steroid-based medication" to bulk up for a charity boxing match.
He has since put his steroid use down to "bad advice" from his trainer.
Spencer is now a regular guest on ITV chat show Loose Women, where he has been grilled about his relationship with former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, whom he met in the I'm A Celeb... jungle.
After being questioned about it by panellist Katie Price, who said Vicky confirmed to her that the pair had "done the deed", Spencer said: "We weren't a couple, no, but when I was in Africa I thought it could be heading that way.
"She's a very lovely girl and she's made a very sensible decision in my opinion. We came to the conclusion - or she came to - and had each other's back."
Spencer has also appeared as The Bachelor on a Channel 5 reality show of the same name, in which he dated multiple single women in an attempt to find a girlfriend.
He eventually chose Khloe Evans but the relationship quickly ended when she was photographed kissing a cast member of The Only Way Is Essex just a week after the final episode.
