Katherine Kelly has ruled out returning to Coronation Street to film funeral scenes for tragic Kylie Platt.
In Friday's episode of the long-running ITV soap, Kylie (played by Paula Lane) was brutally murdered on Weatherfield's famous cobbles.
The young mum was stabbed by thug Clayton (Callum Harrison) minutes after announcing that she and her family were emigrating to Barbados in search of a fresh start with half-sister Becky McDonald.
Katherine, who played Corrie's Becky for six years before departing in 2012, took to Twitter to say her character would not be heading back to England for Kylie's funeral.

Speaking ahead of the death scene, Paula spoke about the "gut-wrenching" decision to kill off Kylie.
She said: "I'm not just saying this because I'm involved, but I don't think I've ever read an ending like it. It's almost not Corrie, if you know what I mean, it's very different."
The Yorkshire-born actress was originally offered a six-month contract as Kylie. But six months turned into six years and Paula had concerns about being typecast.
During Kylie's six years on the cobbles, the troubled mother has been at the centre of some high-profile storylines.
In 2015 during a live episode, she murdered evil Callum Logan (Sean Ward) to stop him from harming her sister-in-law Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien).
