Irked music fans have sided with Calvin Harris over his ongoing war of words with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, prompting the hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty to go global... and there have been plenty of hilarious reactions to the Twitter trend.
Relations between the pair have soured - despite their initial claims of an amicable split back in May - and things reached fever pitch on Wednesday when Taylor, 26, revealed she was the secret writer behind Calvin's new hit This Is What You Came For.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, this caused the Scottish DJ, 32, to spout off a tirade of tweets, one of which confirmed that his ex had indeed written the track and that "she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym".
The spurned producer added: 'Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.'
As well as then referencing her speedy new love affair with actor Tom Hiddleston, he then savaged her with a follow-up message: "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."
And, in typical social media style, the good and the great on Twitter have responded with plenty of hilarious memes, gifs and tweets now that Taylor Swift is, apparently, over.
It led with Katy Perry - a known rival of Taylor - getting involved, posting a hilarious clip of Hillary Clinton rolling her eyes and also retweeting a post she made in 2015, reading: "Time, the ultimate truth teller."
But some of the best reactions to #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty come from those who have been waiting for this day for some time. And those who just want to celebrate whatever the cause, using clips of one of Taylor's ex-boyfriends, Harry Styles.
