Dogs were brought on to episode 38 of ITV2´s Love Island - and everyone everywhere agrees that it was the best thing to happen on the show. Ever.
Despite an episode of big rifts between Katie and Sophie following an unrequited kiss, as well as hurtful words between Adam and Tina, all dramas were forgotten when seven dogs were brought for an afternoon on the island.
A dog was given to each couple to look after for the day and when they all competed in an obstacle race, Twitter pretty much forgot about everything else that has ever happened...

Yep, some people reckoned that, only a few episodes before the series finale, it was actually the best part of the show so far...
Bringing dogs into love island is the best idea ITV has had

Wish the dogs replaced these people. The dogs were a lot more entertaining #loveisland

Some viewers perhaps got a little TOO keen...
OMG if I was in love island I'd be darting down them stairs never mind standing at the window I'd be through it ??

Omg imagine me being in love island right now I'd have stolen all those dogs and been hiding ?????
-- Karis xx (@karisXshinn) July 6, 2016
Even enough to forget the point of the show altogether...
If I was in love island and they let loads of dogs in like they just have done I'd of told my partner to ram it &I chilled with the dogs ?

But some, on the other hand, were more confused than converted by the surprise visitors...
That's random from love island ?

Went to wash my hair, come back and there's dogs on love island, what???????
-- Sophie Hampson (@SophieHampson) July 6, 2016
But everyone agreed on how funny it was that the islanders were way more upset to see the dogs go at the end of the show than veteran islander, Sophie Gradon...
love how everyone was more upset about the dogs leaving than when sophie left? #loveisland

More of a reaction of some dogs that they knew a day leaving than Sophie who's been there from the start, ahaha brilliant #loveisland

Soz, Soph, looks like the dogs win this one.
