James Bond star Sir Roger Moore has paid tribute to British film producer Euan Lloyd, who has died aged 92.
Sir Roger starred alongside Richard Burton and Richard Harris in Lloyd's film The Wild Geese and his history drama The Sea Wolves, opposite Gregory Peck.
Producer Jonathan Sothcott, president of Hereford Films, announced the news of the death of his "great friend" on Twitter, calling him "a legend".
Sothcott had made a film about Lloyd called The Last Of The Gentleman Producers.
Lloyd was born in Rugby in 1923 and his film career began as assistant manager at the ABC cinema in wartime Walsall.
He went on to work as a film publicist before moving into producing and directing.
His last film was Wild Geese II starring Laurence Olivier in 1985.
