Fans have been left equally emotional after Rihanna broke down crying on stage in Dublin.
Camera phones snapped the moment the 28-year-old popstar paused to wipe away tears as she started singing Love The Way You Lie (Part II) to an adoring crowd at the Aviva Stadium during her Anti World Tour show.
The star admitted on social media that it had been an emotional evening for her and thanked her Navy team for their support.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning she posted a video of the stadium in Instagram with the words: "What a night!!!! Such an emotional show for me! I feel so lucky to have a team like the #Navy man! I'm blessed!! No matter what I'm on you always snatch me out of it! I'm so grateful to have y'all! #DUBLIN #ANTIWORLDTOUR"
But, wearing a simple but stunning white Adam Selman bodysuit with matching thigh-high Giuseppe Zanotti canvas boots, RiRi took barely a moment to compose herself again.
And fans - whether they were in the audience or not - took to Twitter to show emotional solidarity with their idol.
After a couple of days' break, Rihanna's next show in the tour will see her perform to London's Wembley Stadium.
