Luther actor Idris Elba has pulled out of Glastonbury due to scheduling conflicts.
In an apologetic Facebook video posted from his film set, he blamed a clash with filming his role as gunslinger Roland Deschain in the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower, which also stars Matthew McConaughey.
Idris was due to perform on the Sonic stage on Saturday evening.
He said: "It is with a very heavy heart that I let you know I can't make it this year. I had to cancel my gig at the very last minute and I'm really sorry.
"It's not my fault. I tell you it's my film schedule, it changed at the last minute and I had to cancel."
He made a last minute plea for fans to vote in the EU referendum at the end of the video.
He added: "Go, have a wicked time, enjoy yourselves, it's going to be amazing this year, massive, massive line-up but I can't be there.
"Anyway enjoy it, and don't forget, vote, EU referendum, massively important, do it."
