Taylor Swift and Kanye West have played out a celebrity grudge match in public ever since 2009, but now their feud over his song Famous has moved to another level.
And it all stems over whether Taylor knew about the controversial lyrics in Famous or not.
Earlier this year, Kanye premiered his seventh studio album The Life Of Pablo. The track Famous contains these lyics: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that b***h famous / God damn / I made that b***h famous."
At the time, Taylor's representatives said Kanye put the song out without seeking permission from Taylor.
Her spokesman said: "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that b***h famous'."
Kanye took to Twitter and said he had called Taylor. He also claimed she "gave her blessings".
3rd thing I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings

In a recent interview with GQ magazine Kim Kardashian West also said Taylor was aware of the lyrics.
"She totally approved that," Kim said. "She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn't."
On June 20, a report in The Sun said it has seen legal papers relating to the call.
A couple of months ago, Taylor's younger brother Austin Swift made his thoughts clear on the lyric as he posted a clip on Instagram of himself throwing out a pair of Yeezy shoes, from one of West's fashion lines.
He captioned the photo: "Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again."
Meanwhile, Calvin Harris broke his silence about ex-girlfriend Taylor with the words "it's all good", but his choice of footwear last Thursday and Friday sparked speculation.
The Scottish DJ, real name Adam Richard Wiles, was photographed out and about in Los Angeles wearing Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 trainers designed by Kanye. He wore a black pair on Friday and a light grey pair the day before.
The timing of Calvin's choice of footwear has raised eyebrows as the fascination about Taylor's apparent new romance with actor Tom Hiddleston continues.
Taylor, who has become one of the world's biggest pop stars with hits including Bad Blood and Blank Space, has previously been romantically linked with One Direction singer Harry Styles, Twilight star Taylor Lautner, and singer Joe Jonas.
