Broadcaster Janet Street-Porter has added her voice to the many discussing the Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston news.
Media personality Janet, a former journalist and newspaper editor, said: "I look at these pictures and I just see a PR stunt. I don't think it's real."
The 69-year-old made the comment on Thursday's edition of Loose Women after The Sun published photos of Taylor kissing British actor Tom.
"He's so desperate to be the next James Bond and she's so desperate to remain hip at all costs," the 69-year-old added during a discussion centred on when people should move on from a break-up.
The photographs emerged two weeks after the 26-year-old Shake It Off singer's split with DJ Calvin Harris, her boyfriend of 15 months.
The Press Association contacted a representative for London-born Tom, but the spokesman declined to comment on the reports.
Tom, who is rumoured to be in the running for the role of James Bond, enjoyed time with Taylor at The Met Ball in New York last month.
The couple were seated next to each other at dinner and were spotted dancing together.
Speaking after the video of the Met Ball dance emerged, the 35-year-old told the Press Association that Taylor had persuaded him to show off his moves.
He said: "I was on a table with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd was playing and she said, 'The thing about these parties is nobody gets up to dance, and you're making music'.
"She, as a musician, was like, 'We've got to dance for The Weeknd', so we got up and danced. I didn't know it was going to ping round the world, but it's all good."
Taylor, who has become one of the world's biggest pop stars with hits including Bad Blood and Blank Space, has previously been romantically linked with One Direction singer Harry Styles, Twilight star Taylor Lautner, and singer Joe Jonas.
