Louis Theroux reduced viewers to tears when his powerful documentary Drinking To Oblivion was broadcast back in April.
The BBC Two programme explored alcohol abuse in Britain, with Louis meeting a number of people who were dangerously addicted.
Viewers who took to Twitter to express their thoughts were particularly moved by the story of 32-year-old alcoholic Joe Walker.
He started drinking to oblivion after a break-up and Louis' documentary presented his struggle in distressing detail.
However, a tweet from Louis will cheer up anyone who watched because Joe has been clean and sober for eight months.
