Top Gear turns the corner, but Chris Evans is still annoying viewers

The revamped Top Gear seems to have won over some of its critics this week, with many viewers publicly declaring they are enjoying it.

The BBC Two motoring show has been hit with a torrent of criticism since it returned with Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans at the wheel last month, and ratings have been dropping.

But during this week's instalment fans on Twitter were starting to insist they were enjoying it.

Unfortunately for Chris, there didn't seem to be the same sort of goodwill when it came to his hosting style.

The presenter has been accused of being too loud and over-excited.

And viewers don't think it is improving.

People were also unimpressed that he threw up after a lightning quick spin in an Audi R8.

Some of the highlights this week included the interviews with guests Kevin Hart and Anthony Joshua, which went down a storm, and Matt's tour of London in Ken Block's modified Mustang.

And Sabine Schmitz's turn in the R8 seemed to have won her some fans.
