Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods coming to London theatre

The movie of Stephen Sondheim's musical Into The Woods was recently nominated for Oscars, and now an off-Broadway production is heading to London.

Following an acclaimed run in New York, Fiasco Theatre will bring its reinvention of the show to the Menier Chocolate Factory this summer.

The 1986 musical, which uses characters from Little Red Riding Hood, Jack And The Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella, among others, was adapted by Disney for the big screen in 2014, in an all-star production starring Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, James Corden and Emily Blunt.

The score features timeless songs including Children Will Listen and No One Is Alone.
