Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick sing for fans in Cannes


Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick treated the crowd at the Cannes Film Festival to an acoustic performance of Cyndi Lauper's True Colours.

The pair are on the French Riviera to promote the DreamWorks Animation release Trolls, for which they voice the main characters.

After previewing footage for the film, DreamWorks chief Jeffrey Katzenberg introduced the duo, who strode out on the stage with Justin bearing an acoustic guitar.

The pop heartthrob introduced them as "Anna and Garfunkel", before they launched into their enthusiastic rendition of the tune.

Held in the Palais des Festivals, it was the first time Cannes had lent its festival headquarters for a promotional screening of early footage.

Justin is also executive producer of the soundtrack for the movie, which includes original songs by him.
