MasterChef is always quite an emotional experience for us as viewers, but the latest episode reminded us that it can be just as painstaking for the contestants, too. Would you believe that?
Contestant Alec rattled around the kitchen like a can of shaken-up pop, frantically burning things and not smiling. Twitter seems to hate it when people don't smile.
He began his sure descent into despair with a run-in with a slow-cooker and Twitter voyeured on, following his journey into the MasterChef abyss.
He gets flustered merely talking about his food let alone actually cooking it. Guys a liability #MasterchefUK

Sure enough, Alec's shaky hands resulted in him shaking confidence and bidding farewell to his other contestants at the end of the show.
That wasn't a surprise! Bye Alec and take that burnt cabbage with you! As you say c'est la vie! #MasterChefUK
