Charlie Brooks and Shappi Khorsandi felt the sharp tongue of Twitter after floundering over some rather simple questions on the latest episode of The Chase.
The pair, and fellow celebrity contestants Richard Whitehead and David Dickinson, were branded "pitiful" after they struggled to get much right at all.
Bloody pathetic. All three of them should be ashamed of themselves! #TheChase

Poor Charlie didn't seem to know that mixing red and yellow paint would produce orange (she went with... green), and she wasn't on top of her S Club back catalogue either.

Bless Charlie Brooks, I think she is a rabbit caught in the headlights. #TheChase

Shappi didn't fare much better, confusing Oxford for a country when she was asked where the fictional Harry Potter school of Hogwarts was based.
Not only is Shappi the least funniest living being but also the thickest. #TheChase

David got into a bit of a pickle when quizzed about bacon - the former Bargain Hunt star was left scratching his head when he had to identify what cured, smoked and sliced pork was called.
