Man, 91, crashes straight into garage - on purpose!

Bucket list dream comes true

91-Year-Old Man Checks Off First and Last Thing on Bucket List

A 91-year-old man from Woodstock, Illinois has proved you're never too old to to realise those bucket-list dreams.

Did Walter Thomas go bungee jumping? Swim with dolhpins? No, he got in his car and crashed into a garage.

Before he embarks on his historic trip, a relative asks him: 'Do you now what number this is on your bucket list?' 'I think it's my first,' he says. 'First and last.'

He then gets into an SUV with his grandson in the passenger seat and, at the count of three, hits the gas and reverses at speed into the closed garage door.

A screech of the tyres is heard before he appears crashing out of the back wall. His relatives seem amazed at this 'stunt' for which the old chap wore a crash helmet and protective eye wear.

'He survived!', one of them shouts. Shame about the garage. Luckily, it turns out it was a relative's garage and it was scheduled to be demolished.

Even luckier, the 1998 Isuzu Rodeo was an old car that his grandson found that was headed to the junk yard.
