Bruce Jenner has introduced 'herself' to the world on the front cover of Vanity Fair.
The American former athlete and TV personality is now known as Caitlyn Jenner after undergoing facial and breast surgery back in March. Though she is yet to have genital surgery.
Jenner was married for nearly 24 years to Kris Jenner (formerly Kardashian). The couple and their children became huge stars in 2007 on the television reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Then competing as a man, she first came to prominence winning the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
The magazine cover was released less than 24 hours after his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian revealed her second pregnancy at the end of Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
In the Vanity Fair article, Jenner says: 'Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I'm free.'
The reality TV star also set up a verified Twitter account under Caitlyn Jenner - quickly amassing more than 1 million followers - where she shared her cover and wrote: 'I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self.
'Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.'
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz shot the cover at Caitlyn's palatial Malibu home, reports the Daily Mail.
Leibovitz is one of the most renowned celebrity photographers, having shot many classic covers for Vanity Fair, including Demi Moore posing naked when pregnant.
Expanding on her feelings about doing the Vanity Fair cover, Caitlyn continued: 'The last few days of doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person.'
