Former supermodel Janice Dickinson, one of the original judges on TV show America's Next Top Model, has opened up about her contentious relationship with fellow judge Tyra Banks - who hired and then fired her from the show.
In this revealing interview the 60-year-old also talks about her long battle with drug and alcohol abuse brought on by a failed relationship.
'I've said some pretty bad things about Tyra in the past because I'd been fired,' she says. 'I really apologise to you Tyra for the things I might have said. Because she is a great lady and thanks to her I had a very successful career in television.'
She adds: 'The drugs and alcohol abuse started for me when I was in New York City. There was free cocaine and alcohol everywhere at fashion shows.
'I had a terrible break up with a photographer who cheated on me and I really wanted to hurt myself. I felt like I was not good enough, like my father used to say to me.
'My father verbally abused me and physically abused me. Today I can honestly say I am one hundred per cent sober.'
