This is the shocking moment a police motorcyclist nearly crashes into a car on the motorway.
The driver of the car, who wishes to remain anonymous, was driving along the M8 motorway near junction 21 for Govan in Glasgow when the incident happened.
The video shows the driver in the outside lane of the motorway when the police rider suddenly dashes across all three lanes of the carriageway from the slip road and blindly begins to merge into the lane of the dash cammer.
Luckily the driver of the car was paying attention and managed to avoid an accident before the officer hit the vehicle.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the driver said: "There was absolutely no reason that I could see for this police biker to merge immediately into outside lane.
"Thankfully traffic was a little bit behind me otherwise there could have been a serious crash."
Further on in the video a convoy of several police bikes and cars can be seen passing the dash cam driver – not driving or riding dangerously.
