Building-sized vending machine deposits luxury cars

Updated:

A vending machine with a twist has been created in Singapore.

Traditionally vending machines deposit chocolate, crisps, drinks or sandwiches, but this amazing looking 15-storey vending machine is a bit different.

Dubbed the "world's largest luxury car vending machine", the building was created for used car dealer Autobahn Motors and resembles the ultimate petrol head's toy box.

It dispenses luxury cars such as Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ferrari and even some classic Mercedes.

The system works via a series of lifts that interconnects between each section of the building so that any car can be selected and brought down to the customer.

Up to 60 cars can be displayed at any one time; it is also being considered a space saving way for parking within busy cities.

Autobahn Motors general manager Gary Hong spoke to Reuters about the building and the concept behind it. He said: "We needed to meet our requirement of storing a lot of cars. At the same time, we wanted to be creative and innovative."
