Rally enthusiasts may be able to own a part of the sport's history, as a Peugeot 205 T16 used in the 1985 Rallye Monte-Carlo is going under the hammer at auction.

The 205 T16, which produces 345bhp thanks to a 1.8-litre engine, was piloted to first place by rally world champion Ari Vatanen in two events, one of which was the 1985 Swedish rally. The other was the 1985 Rallye-Monte Carlo, which saw it fend off rivals Audi.
