"Every new car" to be web-connected by 2014

An article by the BBC suggests that every new car will be connected to the web in one way or other by the year 2014.

Technology manufacturer Intel believes that "connected" cars are the third fastest growing technology sector, second only to phones and tablets. In fact, the firm is so confident in the rise that they're investing $100 million (around £64 million) in companies that can "quicken the adoption of connected cars".
