The former Formula One World Champion has had his fair share of rivalries on track. Last season, there was the constant threat from now-former teammate Jenson Button and then there was the bizarre feud with Felipe Massa after the pair collided numerous times during the 2011 season.
But ask Lewis about his biggest rivalry and he's likely to mention the one that exists on the Top Gear test tack, an unsettled score that involves a humble Suzuki Liana rather then the cutting edge technology of a Formula One car.
Sebastian Vettel topped the Star in a Reasonably Price Car leader board last season when he nailed the circuit in 1 minute 44 seconds. Unfortunately, Lewis's lap was much wetter and slightly slower (1.44.7), so this season he's out for revenge.
The British Formula One star is due to appear on the popular motoring show on Sunday, February 17, where he hopes to steal the title from the German driver. Hamilton recently took to Twitter to express his excitement, tweeting "I'll be back on top gear soon... can't wait".
Hamilton recently revealed he will no longer race for McLaren during the 2013 season, instead he will partner Nico Rosberg at the Mercedes team. Sergio Perez will take Hamilton's old seat at McLaren.
