Toyota confirms race version of GT86 sports car

Toyota has announced it will build a race version of the GT86, its new sports car which has received an enthusiastic thumbs-up all round, following its on-sale date earlier this year.

After Toyota's return to Le Mans in June, Team Toyota GB, which competed in the British Touring Car and British Rally Championships in the Eighties and Nineties, has been resurrected and will build the racing car, reported The Daily Telegraph.
