Video: You CAN fit a gun rack in a Chevy Volt

The American Presidential race is full swing across the pond. With current President (and sensible chap) Barak Obama running for the Democrats, the Republicans are looking for a contender to take him on. There are a number of choices, each more terrifying than the last. One candidate, Newt Gingrich is not only bizarre, but doesn't seem to like the Chevrolet Volt.

After a few hiccups (is it a hybrid, is it a range extended vehicle?) the Volt has found a few haterz stateside, one of which is red-blooded 'Merican Newt. His idea to keep the V8 running free involves drilling for oil any and everywhere to push the price of oil down for consumers. Now, economical and environmental issues aside it's safe to say that his idea is a little foolish. He wants to keep the fuel flowing, though, and actively opposes cars like the Volt, presumably because of their eco cred. He also stated that "You cannot put a gun rack in a Chevy Volt".
