Jeremy Clarkson to voice sat nav guidance

Jeremy Clarkson appears to have performed a rather abrupt U-turn on his rather less than favourable stance on sat navs, and has agreed to become the voice of a new TomTom system.

The outspoken Top Gear presenter will not be echoing the dulcet tones of the gently persuasive standard voice though, and those that download the package will be faced with instructions telling them to perform a handbrake turn when safe to do so rather than performing a U turn where possible.
