The German tabloid newspaper Bild recently condemned Ferrari for the team orders scandal, using the highly derogatory term "Schummler" (cheats). The Ferrari PR boss hauled the BILD reporter over the coals and threatened him: "You won't be invited to Madonna di Campiglio this winter." The ski resort is the venue for the popular annual Ferrari media junket.
Fernando Alonso was mildly annoyed when Felipe Massa disrupted the Ferrari interview schedule. Massa spoke for such a long time that Alonso was left kicking his heels in the crowded Ferrari cubbyhole. As the Brazilian walked past, Alonso gave him a dirty look and pointed demonstratively at his watch.
Bruno Senna wasn't sure whether his new helmet to commemorate 50 Years of Ayrton Senna would be ready in time. But it worked out OK in the end and the winner of the design competition visited him in the paddock: "He was presented with a replica helmet decorated with the same design, I showed him round our garage and I think he enjoyed himself immensely."
