Five new Lotuses? Only the Esprit is actually in development

Lotus boss Dany Bahar has apparently let slip that the British car maker currently only has enough money to develop the Esprit.

This raises a question over the company's ability to deliver its ambitious five-cars-in-five-years strategy given that the Esprit isn't due until 2013.
