Updated

NASCAR is set to become the first motorsport to be broadcast live in 3D.

For viewers with the right equipment, the Coke Zero 400 race at Daytona International Speedway will have two video feeds dedicated to presenting the new format.

The first will focus on the race action using a number of cameras placed round the track to construct a 3D broadcast, while the second feed will concentrate on action in the pit lane.
