Police officer saves baby who stops breathing

A routine traffic stop in the US quickly turns into a life-or-death scenario.

A deputy sheriff in South Carolina pulls over a little girl's mum for speeding, only to find the family is racing the 12-day-old to the hospital because she's choking.

The cop quickly springs into action and massages the infant's heart for four minutes in an attempt to get her to breath normally.

Thankfully, his efforts succeed and the incredible moment that the baby regains consciousness is captured in the video above.

The infant was rushed to the hospital and is now back at home, fully recovered.
