Will Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan send their child to an American school?

According to a report in The Times, the Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex are contemplating sending their child to an American school.

While Harry and William both went to Eton, the £40,000-per-year all-boys school located just three miles from Windsor, royal insiders have heard the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are considering sending their new child to an American school in Egham, Surrey.

The American Community School (ACS) has annual fees of £25,360 and offers students the chance to study for a US high school diploma and is also within seven miles of the couple's future residence of Frogmore Cottage.

ACS Egham is a day school that teaches both girls and boys from ages four to eighteen. Pupils don't have a uniform has teachers from more than 50 countries and offers extra curricular activities including yoga and African drumming.

The ACS website says: "We welcome people of all cultures from around the world to create a powerful, shared experience that shapes the way we teach and learn, and actively defines our international character."

Misha Nonoo, the fashion designer widely credited with introducing Meghan to Harry, attended ACS Egham's sister school based in Cobham, Surrey.

E! News spoke to a royal source who told them the Duke and Duchess "are thought to want a more diverse education for their child, Meghan is also keen for her child to be fully aware of his or her American heritage."

Kensington Palace has not commented.
