Europe's best-selling cars of 2017 revealed

The UK's best-selling cars are normally easy to predict, regardless of timeframe. The Ford Fiesta takes the top spot, as it has done almost continuously for a decade, while the remainder of the top ten is filled with a motley crew of classic hatchbacks and fashionable crossovers.

But does the same apply to Europe as a whole? Market analyst JATO Dynamics has compiled figures across Europe to find the continent's best-selling cars.
