Puppies stuck in tar survive following incredible rescue

Three puppies in India survived being stuck in solid tar for hours until locals heard their cries and contacted help.

Rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited came to the aid of the puppies as soon as they heard about their predicament.

However, they faced an extremely difficult situation and were shocked at just how stuck the puppies had become.

They had to cut out slabs of tar and earth and take the puppies to the hospital to work on them there.

It took hours of applying oil to the puppies before it would soften. They were then given oil massages and baths over the next three days to completely remove the tar.

Then, the rescuers even managed to track down the puppies' mum and reunite the brood. See the story unfold in the video above.
