Woman dragged across sidewalk in purse snatching

A 54-year-old woman was knocked over and dragged along the sidewalk by a purse thief in Brooklyn, New York.

The woman is seen clinging on to her bag as the would-be thief persists. The lady was dragged around 25ft before two men from a mobile phone shop heard her screaming.

They ran outside and eventually managed to chase the attacker off. Watch the scene in the video above.
