Renault debuts new autonomous tech with reaction times of a pro driver

Renault has taken another step along the road to autonomous cars and unveiled its latest and most sophisticated safety kit yet. Debuted on a Zoe electric car (nicknamed 'Callie') the tech is intended to help avoid obstacles in the road and has reaction times as good as those of a professional driver.

Renault says the tech was benchmarked against its own test drivers and in several cases, actually bested their reaction times.
