Paris has opened its first-ever naked restaurant where diners eat a slap-up meal in the nude.

The aptly named O'naturel is located on rue de Gravelle in the 12th arrondissement.

After the opening on Friday, restaurant manager Mike and Stephane Saada told Le Parisien: "Tonight, we only had the members of the Paris Naturist Association. They've supported us from the beginning, and we reserved our first soirée for them."

The restaurant sits 40 diners and offers typical French dining, with the likes of foie gras, steak and fish on the menu, along with posh wine.

A meal costs around €30 (£26) and diners are asked to leave all their clothes in a wardrobe before entering the eatery.

Locals are at ease with the unusual new opening too. A resident named Mehdi told the newspaper: "It doesn't bother me at all, or my neighbours.

"We don't see anything from the street. We know what's happening. It's not a massage parlour."
