Simon Cowell needs to 'take care' after falling down stairs

Simon Cowell has admitted he has to take better care of himself after falling down the stairs of his London home.

The music mogul was briefly hospitalised following the scary incident on Friday morning.

He was ordered by doctors to rest over the weekend, meaning he missed taking part in the X Factor live shows.

He told The Sun: "Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.

"They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out."
