Helicopter rescues family 'stuck on steep slope' during Snowdonia walk
A family had to be winched to safety by helicopter from a steep mountainside in Snowdonia after they got lost while walking.
The two adults and two children, aged five and 11, were stuck on Glyder Fawr in North Wales for hours before they were discovered on the "precarious" slope, the UK Coastguard said.
A mountain rescue search was launched at around 5.30pm on Sunday after the mother called police to report she was lost with her family.

The UK Coastguard helicopter was asked to assist as light began to fade at around 8pm.
The group was eventually located just after 9pm - "stuck on the side of a steep slope" - and airlifted to safety.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: "They were all cold and wet having been stuck on the mountain for several hours, but were otherwise unharmed."
