Unsettled weather has been seen in the popular holiday destination for a couple of weeks, and one local paper reported 12 tornadoes being spotted at once on the same day as this flight, according to the Telegraph.
The weather formations can cause havoc with flights, causing cancellations and delays thanks to gusts of wind from the tornadoes potentially causing severe turbulence.
According to RT News, nine flights were delayed due to bad weather conditions on this day, with other planes being diverted to airports in the nearby Russian cities of Anapa and Krasnodar.
One plane passenger managed to capture the scene from his window seat.
