Out-of-control caravan slots into parking space perfectly

A runaway caravan has been caught on CCTV in France seemingly parking itself.

The incident happened after the caravan, which was being towed by a Volkswagen Touran, became detached and fell down a hill in the Luberon Monts de Vaucluse campsite car park in Marseille.

The footage shows the caravan slowly becoming uncoupled as the car drives over a speed bump. The caravan then begins to travel lose control and speed down the road before veering sharply to the left.

Amazingly it slots through a gap in some trees, crosses the car park forecourt and perfectly slots into a parking bay.

The owners can be seen rushing as fast as possible towards it. Luckily, it didn't hit the campervan parked next to it and no damage was done to the caravan itself, either.

According to the Daily Mail, the clip has now been watched by more than 1.6 million people and has been shared across Facebook 15,000 times.
