Stunning Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet concept unveiled
Mercedes-Maybach has unveiled its stunning new 6 Cabriolet concept in front of packed crowds at Pebble Beach.
This jaw-dropping vision is a fully electric supercar that can travel faster than most sports and supercars. With an eye-watering 737bhp the 6 can travel from 0-60mph in less than four seconds.
It also has a range of more than 310 miles when fully charged. A special boost charger is also available so that if you're low on power, it can rapidly charge the car in just five minutes adding an extra 60 miles worth of power.
To say the styling is striking is an understatement. It takes its inspiration from its sibling the Coupe version, which was shown at Pebble Beach last year.
At more than six metres long it is hard to miss, especially with its sweeping tail that curves at the base. From the front it has a large chrome grille that harks back to the Maybach 57 and 62 from 2002.
The distinctive looks and design continue inside the cabin where you find a plethora of materials – from luxurious white leather seats to uber-cool fibre optic backlit blue panels that encompass the entire interior giving it a really futuristic look.
The car was unveiled at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week in California and received a lot of praise from onlookers.
Whether or not Mercedes will actually put this eye-catching machine into production is unknown. One thing is for certain it looks like nothing else on the road today.
