Five must-see TV highlights for the week ahead


This week sees Celebrity Masterchef return to our screens with a fun-looking line-up of contestants, plus two Premier League title contenders clash at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

Cheap Cheap Cheap - All week at 3pm on Channel 4

Hoping to follow on from Deal or No Deal's cult success, Noel Edmond hosts this bizarre-looking game show/sitcom hybrid. Contestants must work out which is the cheapest item from a set of three in order to progress towards the jackpot. Confused? Watch the bonkers trailer above!

Celebrity MasterChef - Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on BBC One

John Torode and Gregg Wallace return to present and judge this much-loved culinary competition with this series' contestants including pop star Rachel Stevens, snooker legend Stephen Hendry and surreal comedy genius Vic Reeves. Let's hope there's a cheesecake episode featuring some buttery biscuit bases!

Flights From Hell: Caught On Camera - Tuesday 9pm on Channel 4

Hopefully most will already have been on the summer holidays by the time they watch this terrifying clip show featuring smartphone footage of troubled flights. Nervous fliers may want to turn over!

Tottenham v Chelsea: live - Sunday 4pm on Sky Sports Premier League

Premier League champions Chelsea got off to a losing start last weekend. Watch live as they try to turn things around against local rivals Spurs, who will be using Wembley Stadium as their home venue for the first time this season.
