Dog found covered in porcupine quills reunited with owner

This one curious dog recently learned that porcupines are best observed from a distance.

A passer-by spotted the dog along a road in New Hampshire, USA, and noticed that its face was covered in porcupine quills so he veterinary assistance.

The process of removing all of the quills took around four hours - but no one knew who the dog's owner was.

Area authorities posted a picture of the pet on their Facebook page and the pet and family were reunited within a few days.
