The UK's most spectacular sea views
Last week, we looked at seven properties with sea views that could be yours for less than £100,000.
From a small flat to a pretty house, they all offer more than just a glimpse of the water, with genuinely panoramic views.
But suppose price isn't an object?
"There's likely to be quite a lot of competition for properties with views of the ocean, because despite being surrounded by water, there are very few houses on the market to choose from," says Alex Gosling, CEO of online estate agents HouseSimple.com.
"As a result, you'll find that properties with the best sea views often come with a premium on the asking price."
We look at seven properties on the market with the very best sea views.
Poole, Dorset
For £1.6 million, you can snap up this three-bedroom flat overlooking both Poole Harbour and Poole Bay from Old Harry Rocks to the Isle of Wight. One of a block of just five, it has a communal swimming pool and sauna and secure gate providing direct access onto the beach. Contact agent Tailor Made for more information.
Woolacombe, Devon
This chalet bungalow is set in a large walled garden with magnificent views over Woolacombe bay - rated one of the best in the world. The house has been in the same ownership since the 1950s, and needs a fair bit of updating - or even replacing, say agents Taylor Underwood. It's on the market for £1.5 million.
Fishguard, Pembrokeshire
This stunning seven-bedroom new-build has spectacular views of the mountains as well as the sea - which you can enjoy from the hot tub on the terrace. It has high-spec, eco-friendly features with a biomass boiler and solar panels, and there's an established holiday let in an annexe. It costs £1.3 million through agent Fine & Country.

St Mawes, Cornwall
The view of this pretty cottage is almost as lovely as the view from it - and that's truly spectacular. Right on the waterfront, the three-bedroom house looks over the harbour, river and bay. Inside, it's lovely - but the downside is that there's only a small shared courtyard garden. It costs £750,000 through agent H Tiddy.
Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire
Back in Pembrokeshire, this beautifully restored Georgian cottage is perched on Haroldston Hill and has truly panoramic coastal views. With plenty of original features, it has a large garden stretching all the way to the coastal path. It costs £499,950 from agent J J Morris.
Old Colwyn, Conway
Agents McCoubrey Cooke say this three bedroom detached property has one of North Wales's most spectacular sea views. And if you don't like what you see from the conservatory, living room and bedrooms, there's a specially constructed vantage point in the garden in the form of a glazed summer house. It'll set you back £374,950.
Isle of Skye
A contemporary, larch clad property on Skye's Miniginish Peninsula, this open-plan four bedroom house has floor to ceiling windows to the front. With breathtaking panoramic views across Fiskavaig Bay, MacLeod's Maidens and the Uists beyond, you'll see sea eagles, otters, seals, basking sharks and occasionally dolphins, as well as the Northern Lights. Agents Remax Skye are looking for offers over £340,000.
