Man charged with terror offences after Stansted Airport arrest

A 37-year-old man has been charged under the Terrorism Act after being arrested at Stansted Airport.

Aweys Faqey of north London was charged on Tuesday with preparing acts of terrorism, following his arrest a week earlier.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday afternoon.
