Australia is famous for its fabulous coastline full of sparkling seas and endless swimming opportunities. But don't worry if you're travelling inland, there are still plenty of wild swimming spots to splash around in - from pinch-me-moment plunge pools to wow-factor waterfalls, gorgeous gorges and stunning hot springs.

Up in the Northern Territory, you'll find some of the most incredibly beautiful places to take a dip, especially in the Kakadu National Park. At Gunlom Falls, nature has created its own set of infinity pools, where you can float above the fantastic tree-lined terrain below.

In Victoria, you can pamper yourself at the Peninsula Hot Springs, where there's also a cave pool and spa treatments on offer.

Over in the rugged and ancient Kimberley region of Western Australia, you'll be treated to beautiful bottomless gorges, gushing waterfalls and thermal waters.

Whatever Australian state you're visiting, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to wild swimming sessions. The hardest decision? Which one to dive into first.
