CCTV has captured the heart-stopping moment a pedestrian was forced to dive for safety after a suspected illegal street race went badly wrong in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The shocking video shows the moment a 21-year-old driver allegedly lost control of his Volkswagen Golf while racing at speeds of up to 70mph in a street that is limited to 30mph.
