Humpback whale flies through air right next to boat

A humpback whale got a little too close for comfort when it took a giant leap right next to a family boating in Virginia, USA.

The enormous animal broke through the surface a split second after a voice says: "I don't even see him."

The family regularly goes whale watching in the area but said none they've seen before compare to this one.
