Is that a UFO in the skies above Bristol?

A man in Bristol believes he saw a blue UFO while out walking - and captured it on camera.

Ethan Hodge, 23, was out walking on Siston Common, near Mangotsfield, on Monday night when he saw the mysterious flashing object in the sky.

He called a friend to come and have a look and he was encouraged to catch the scene on film.

The light is seen in the sky before disappearing and then coming back as flashing "blue ring of fire", reports the Mirror.

Speaking to the Bristol Post, he said: "At first I thought it was just a star, then it started flashing green, blue, purple – all these various colours. It disappeared for a few seconds and then returned as this big flashing circle.

"I've never seen anything like it."

It's not the first time a 'UFO' has been spotted in Bristol. Back in February 2016, a woman saw a 'flying saucer' while she was walking on the beach.

Fiona Powell, 41, was walking her children with friends along the promenade on Severn Beach, Bristol, when she took a photo of their surroundings and later spotted the mysterious flying object.
